Our CEO Piyusha P. Pradhan is paving the way for greater gender diversity and inclusiveness in leadership roles. She has a master’s in Polymer Technology having expertise in plastic waste management and application of technology for rural development, particularly integrating low carbon and low-level technology in severe technology deficit rural India for sustainable development. Piyusha P Pradhan aims to redefine the role of women in societal norms and challenge stereotypes to establish themselves as formidable leaders and entrepreneurs. Her vision for the company is to provide better to society by helping it transition from traditional cooking methods to cleaner methods like Our Improved Cookstoves which are designed specifically to eradicate environmental pollution and can be used to make carbon credits beneficial for the company and society in general.
DEALS WITH CARBON CREDIT AND OFFSETS
Our Improved Cookstove project connects with carbon credits through the concept of carbon offsetting, wherein each credit represents one tonne of CO2 that has been prevented from entering the atmosphere. These carbon credits can be sold on carbon markets and the revenue generated from selling these credits can help finance further deployment of improved cookstoves, creating a sustainable cycle. Our Improved Cookstove Project brings health, economic, and social advantages to communities by reducing indoor air pollution, cutting fuel costs, and saving the time spent collecting fuel.
MANUFACTURING CAPACITY OF THE FACTORY
Meensou Infra Private Limited focuses on innovation to ensure that we remain at the cutting edge of the manufacturing facility. Here at Meensou Infra Private Limited, we value our highly skilled workforce as they are the backbone of our manufacturing process where we strive to focus on the superior quality and timely delivery of our cookstoves. Meensou Infra Private Limited’s endeavours to enhance our manufacturing capabilities, where at present our facility is strategically equipped with 10 Expert Welders with their assistants at the site. With a robust infrastructure, our facility stands over 2000 square feet producing 300 cookstoves per day. Our commitment to sustainability not only benefits the environment but ensures that we operate in a socially responsive manner.
PROJECTS
Prathamesh-1 Improved Cookstove Project is about bringing change in society by encouraging local communities dependent on harmful cooking practices to a cleaner one. It not only strives to promote cleaner environment but at the same time it enhances community cohesion and peacebuilding.
Utkal Uday Improved Cookstove Project in collaboration with myclimate focuses on the rural districts of Angul, Bargarh, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, and Sundargarh in Odisha.
Koshal Improved Cookstove Project in collaboration with Ecoact France focuses on the rural districts of Kalahandi, Balangir, Sonepur, and Boudh in Odisha.
OUR COOKSTOVE
Our Improved Cookstove aims to eradicate greenhouse gas emissions from the environment through efficient fuel use and lower emissions which will bring environmental change while promoting a sustainable environment. In the process, the company generates carbon credits which can be traded in the carbon market.
Efficiency : Our Improved Cookstove enhances the cooking speed and uniformity by maximizing the combustion of available fuel. It achieves this through improved design features better insulation, efficient airflow and a well-designed combustion chamber. Our Improved Cookstoves has a thermal efficiency value of 33.34% and provides significant economic and environmental benefits, making it a practical choice for both resource-constrained and environmentally conscious users.

STANDARDS FOR MANUFACTURING
Meensou Infra Private Limited places the highest value on merit and integrity. Environmental sustainability is embedded into our long-term strategy for growth. Keeping in mind to deliver the best output we follow the 2013 Bureau of Indian Standards Guidelines. We have our ISO Certification under process and at the same time, we plan to get ZED (Zero Affect, Zero Defect) Certification soon. Our commitment is to put forth the best standards while manufacturing our product. The product Prathamesh 1 cookstove has been certified by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research -Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology (CSIR-IMMT).
It has been tested at CSIR-IMMT Bhubaneshwar as per the revised BIS Standard August 2013 and has a thermal efficiency of 33.34%.
